Creating or modifying an advanced rule, allows to write the Java code or SQL code as applicable, to test the rule and review its compilation errors, viewing them in the same panel.
Depending on the type of advanced rule, one or more design options are displayed.
•Standard Rule
The design options available are: "JAVA code”, "Permissions", “Execution" and "Compilation errors”.
•JDBC rule
The design options available are: "SQL code”, "Pre/Post SQL”, "Permissions", “Execution" and "Compilation errors”.
•SOAP rule
The design options available are: "Permissions", “Execution" and "Compilation errors”.
•Forms Extension Rule
The design options available are: "JAVA code”, "Permissions" and "Compilation errors”.
•Rest rule
The design options available are: "Pre/Post WS”, “Execution" and "Compilation errors”.
In all cases, the "Compilation Errors" option is displayed only if compilation errors occur when executing or publishing a rule
