New Entity Modeler
Modeling entities is the new feature that Deyel incorporates so that you can design and define the characteristics of your business entities. Using the new entity modeler you can create and manage entities, specifying their attributes, relations and business rules. The entity modeler provides an intuitive and easy-to-use graphical interface, with design tools and wizards.
With a wide variety of graphic elements, such as titles, labels and containers, just as in the page modeler, the definition of properties is added, this time through the use of field type elements.
You will be able to design the visual appearance of your business entities, in addition to the attributes of your business entities, managing their persistence in the database and integrations. You will also be able to define the security of access to the data that you generate in each instance of your entity, all this in one place.
You will also be able to use the variables of your entities in business processes, just as you did with forms.
The entity modeler unifies technical advantages in the definition of business objects, as the form modeler does, and the ability to generate an unlimited UI, as the page modeler does.
It has never been easier to translate your ideas into functional and visually appealing applications!
Highlights
- With the new “Entity” object type you will have aspects similar to those of the forms, with superior features and functionalities.
- You will be able to model your entities through a web interface with the “drag and drop” functionality that facilitates the visual creation of your business objects. All the graphical features you know in the page modeler are also present in the entity modeler, allowing you to model the display of your entities on different devices, with the precision and graphical characteristics you need.
- You will define the attributes of the business entities using the “Field” element that allows you to represent any property of a business entity. You will also be able to establish relationships between entities and define the business rules that apply to such entities, such as validations or automatic calculations.
- You will have the possibility to define the integrated data model, ensuring that the structure of your entity is reflected in the generation of an object model represented by Java classes.
- Not only will you design the visual appearance, but you will also be able to specify how data is stored in the database, simplifying the management of data persistence for your entities.
- You will be able to use the business variables of your entities in the process workflows. Now the interfaces of your activities will be seen with the aesthetics of the new entities and you will be able to model the entity variables with all the properties of the process modeler.
- You will discover great improvements in the modeling experience since the interfaces are much more efficient in terms of response times since web technology based on “React” is used.
Execution Console for Citizen Developers
Using the new execution console, Citizen Developers will be able to know the behavior of their applications, analyzing the record of the actions carried out when executing the modeled objects.
To carry out the analysis, different levels of registration can be defined, which allow knowing the behavior of the applications according to the needs of the modeler user. For example, in development environments you can know everything that has been executed, while in productive environments it is necessary to focus on performance improvements or check if there are errors.
Highlights
- The console incorporates indicators that provide an overview of how many executions were performed, how many users participated, whether there were warnings for slow executions or errors for a given time range.
- To deepen the analysis, the execution event grid that has different search criteria can be used, where the user can filter by applications, by object type, by user, by IP address, as well as by the content of the modeled embedded rules. This way you have the possibility of having a complete detail of how, when and who executed the applications.
- Additionally, you can download the records to a spreadsheet, to process them and generate the graphics you require.
Help Center
All the information you need is now available in your portal since Deyel incorporates the Help Center, which will allow you to check all the product documentation without leaving your work window. In addition to showing the product manual, you can review the training program and the description of the new features incorporated in the latest version.
Highlights
- You will be able to browse the product documentation without leaving the portal, with the same facilities available that you have when browsing it from Deyel site.
- If you need to analyze a specific topic, you will have the possibility to display it in a new browser tab. This will allow you to continue reading and see the topics of interest in separate tabs.
- The user manual and product news are displayed in the language you are using on the portal.
UX/UI Application Modeling Course
If you want to know how to model B2C, B2B or B2B2C applications using the UX/UI design process, you can opt for this new course. Starting from the user's requests, you can create user flows, wireframes and high-definition prototypes for your applications. You will also be trained in the use of the new Deyel modelers for applications and pages, incorporating the best modeling practices for them. You will discover that with a few clicks you can invoke all your objects modeled in Deyel as part of a solid and robust backend for your web applications.
Highlights
- You will gain experience in the methodology for web applications modeling using the UX/UI design process.
- You will discover the new application and page modelers of Deyel to create user flows, wireframes, wireflows and high-definition prototypes of applications.
- All following good practices for applications modeling and pages.
- Once you have high-definition prototypes of your applications, you'll learn how to immediately turn them into applications using Deyel modelers.
- You will be able to perform a set of practical exercises that will allow you to consolidate the knowledge acquired, so that at the end of the course you will obtain an executable application, using the best UX/UI practices.
- You will see the immediate way to deploy your applications in production using the backend objects that you have modeled.
